Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) is proud to announce that Kelly Calabria, Chief Communications, Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility Officer, has been named to the 2024 Triangle Business Journal’s Corporate Leadership Award list. This award recognizes Calabria’s innovative approach to leadership and commitment to improving health care for all North Carolinians.

The Triangle Business Journal acknowledges Calabria’s work redefining corporate social responsibility and community engagement in health care, along with Blue Cross NC employees and its many community partners.

Under Kelly’s leadership, Blue Cross NC is implementing the first phase of a statewide, transformational commitment to improving youth mental well-being, resiliency and connection. The initial phase begins with comprehensive enhancements to the company’s mental health offerings, targeting improvements in support services and access to care across all 100 North Carolina counties.
