The Carolina Panthers and Blue Cross NC are teaming up to give high school football programs across the state the opportunity to “wear it like a pro.”
During the second annual #WEARITLIKEAPRO program, one high school winner will be selected from each of the four classifications (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A) based on the number of votes the school receives on www.panthers.com/fans/wearitlikeapro. Each winning school will receive 24 premium, brand new Riddell SpeedFlex helmets – the same helmets worn by the Carolina Panthers! In addition, winning schools will be featured on the video board in-stadium during a 2019 Carolina Panthers home game.
“The Carolina Panthers are strong supporters of football played at the grassroots level in our region,” said Riley Fields, Carolina Panthers director of community relations. “We are pleased to partner again with Blue Cross NC on this important program, which will provide new equipment that will enhance player safety while also assisting resource-challenged athletic departments.”
Schools, student bodies, fans and communities are invited to vote for their school at www.panthers.com/fans/wearitlikeapro from September 3 through October 15. Use the hashtag #WEARITLIKEAPRO on social media to spread the word and encourage your team to be bold and confident.

“High school football is part of the fabric of North Carolina and an important part of local communities,” said Reagan Greene Pruitt, Blue Cross NC vice president of marketing and community engagement. “Blue Cross NC is thrilled to help give area high schools the opportunity to win these great helmets to enhance their programs.”
