The company is allowing members in the affected areas to get an early prescription drug refill or replace a lost or destroyed prescription.
“It’s important that we make things easier for our customers who are dealing with the aftermath of something so unexpected. These changes will help ensure our customers continue to get access to the medications they need without interruption,” said Blue Cross NC President and CEO Dr. Patrick Conway.
Members in the affected areas should call the customer service number on the back of their member card for more information.
